Editor Drew Ruble joined Decision Media Inc., the publisher of Business Tennessee magazine, in November 2001. Since then he has produced more than half of the magazine's cover stories, in the process earning a silver award from the Alliance of Area Business Publications for his body of work. Tackling an enormous array of topics, such as ethics in the General Assembly and the economics of the Bonnaroo Music Festival, he wields a broad understanding of the issues that shape business and politics in Tennessee. Previously, Ruble was a political reporter with The Rhinoceros Times, the alternative weekly in Greensboro, N.C.

Reporter Alexei Smirnov, a graduate of Moscow State University and Belmont University, also joined Decision Media Inc. in 2001. Smirnov's in-depth articles on law, commercial real estate and technology have helped establish Business Tennessee as a trusted source of business intelligence statewide.
